Whenever a new SaaS client comes to us, the first step is always the same: understand what matters most for their growth and which pages deserve the strongest SEO support.
- Which pages mattered most for this client?
For this paid social analytics platform, the priority pages were a mix of high-converting landing pages, feature pages, and several commercially valuable blog posts that were already showing early ranking potential.

- What was the SEO link-building strategy?
- Increase organic traffic to target pages
- Improve ranking positions for priority keywords
- Strengthen the backlink profile with relevant, authoritative links
The beginning of the campaign:
Month 1

In the first month, we started with detailed competitor analysis and backlink gap research. We analyzed which referring domains were linking to competing products but not to our client. This helped us build a prospect list with clear relevance and strong potential value.
After qualifying prospects, we launched outreach using a mix of content refresh suggestions, guest posting opportunities, listicle placements, and broken link-building strategies. The goal was not just to get links, but to get the right links.
Month 2
SEO rewards consistency, especially for younger SaaS websites. Even in the early phase, the backlink profile started improving, and authority metrics moved quickly. Domain Rating increased from 14 to 31, giving the site a much stronger foundation for future growth.

Of course, improved Domain Rating is only part of the story. What really matters is whether that authority translates into rankings and traffic.
Month 6

After several months of consistent execution, the results became much more visible. Ranking keywords expanded from 26 to 241, organic traffic increased from roughly 1.4k to 17.8k, and Domain Rating climbed from 14 to 58.
The campaign demonstrated how much growth is possible when link-building is built around priority pages, strong relevance, and consistent monthly execution rather than random placements.
Summary
This case study shows how a focused link-building strategy can significantly improve the SEO performance of a paid social SaaS product in just a few months.
We began by identifying the most important pages, analyzing competitor backlinks, and building a targeted prospect list. From there, we used a mix of content contributions, listicle placements, broken link-building, and outreach-driven placements to strengthen the client’s authority and visibility.
